This policy explains how purchases, cancellations, refunds and returns work at The Anti-Diary. By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms below.
Made-to-Order Products
Most Anti-Diary products are printed to order in small monthly batches. Because of this, cancellation and refund rules differ depending on what you purchase and when you place your order.
Edition Subscriptions (Wild / Minimal)
Anti-Diary subscriptions operate on a monthly reveal and lock system.

Each month’s Edition colour is revealed on the 1st of the month

Subscriptions may be paused, swapped or cancelled up until midnight on the 8th of the month (UK time)

At midnight on the 8th, the upcoming Edition is locked for production
Once an Edition is locked:

Subscription orders cannot be cancelled, changed or refunded

This is because they are printed specifically for you
Subscriptions are non-returnable for change of mind once production is locked.
Monthly Drops (Single Month Purchases)
Monthly colour drops (one-off purchases of a specific Edition month) are also printed to order and follow the same production lock cycle as subscriptions.
Once production is locked:

Orders cannot be cancelled or refunded for change of mind
Single Diaries (Founder Pledge)
For non-dated, one-off Single Diaries, we offer our Founder Pledge.
If you try the diary and it genuinely doesn’t work for you, you may request a return within 30 days of delivery.
Conditions:

The diary may be returned used (“lived-in”)

A short note or feedback explaining why it didn’t work must be included

Return postage is paid by the customer

Refunds are processed once the diary is received

Refunds cover the purchase price only (original postage is non-refundable)
This pledge applies only to Single Diaries and does not apply to subscriptions or monthly Editions.
Faulty or Defective Items
If your item arrives with a fault, please contact us as soon as possible.
Defects include issues that affect function or durability, such as:

Binding or spine faults

Torn or missing pages
-
Major print errors
-
Incorrect items received
Minor cosmetic variations (such as light scuffs or small print marks common in short-run matte production) are not considered defects.
Where a fault is confirmed, we will:

Replace the item at no cost, or
-
Issue a refund if a replacement cannot reasonably be provided
This does not affect your statutory rights.
Cancellations Before Dispatch
If your order has not yet entered production or been dispatched, you may request cancellation by emailing us.
Cancellation requests are assessed based on the product type and production stage.
